RELATED INFORMATION

Matt's fascination with light and capturing it begun around the age of 6 when his parents gave him a trusty little red Halina point and shoot. After many years of playing behind (and in front of) the lens he is now a prolific visual experimentalists and artistic/business multitasker, generally with more fingers in pies and more torches and angles in his photographs then any sensible adult photographer should have.

Having begun his first photographic business at the age of 16 providing event photographs and shooting weddings he has never been afraid of using photography to make money. Along the way he has developed a confidence and style that means he’s not really daunted by any photographic situation or complicated visual requirements.

Artistically, Matt regularly collaborates with a range of artists but it is his 360º collaborations with Chris George under the guise WrightGeorge that have recently resulted in him being described as both an ‘enthusiastic hustler’ and ‘visual pioneer’.

He has undertaken a variety of commissions and has exhibited widely in some unique environments, From Trafalgar Square to disused Motorway support towers under the M4, No location is either too grand or too derelict to both shoot and exhibit within.
