Punctum's Cooperative structure was developed with one primary aim. To provide its members with a supportive environment to assist in the development of their artistic and commercials careers.     • Punctum Photographic – The co-operative agency for Freelance Photographers

    Punctum is a marketing and services co-operative that provides freelance photographers with photographic resources, equipment and training as well as a platform from which to market their services.

    The sharing of Photographic studios and Offices in central Newport, allows for the cross pollination of members ideas and development as well as allowing our members to provide their services at very competitive rates.

    We believe this arrangement is unique within the industry, giving both commercial help and developmental support to it's member photographers, as well as a more complete service to clients, than could be provided by any individual photographer alone.

    The five founders of Punctum were all graduates from the University of Wales Newport and came to together to share an ideal, to create an enjoyable, friendly and market competitive company where professional best practice combined with enjoyment of photography were key to creating a work environment that makes Punctum so enjoyable.

    Since it's founding in 2005 two original members have moved on, while four new members have taken the Punctum road to working freelance in various areas of photography.
